Where does Me&Ro source its coral?

Me&Ro has made the decision to stop buying coral. Coral has been used for centuries in fine jewelry but its survival is under attack by over harvesting, human impacts, and pollution. While there are corals that are being farmed in controlled environments, there is not enough information at this time to determine the environmental impact of this practice. As a result, Me&Ro has chosen to stop using coral once our current inventory is sold out and until we are confident there is no threat to the long term survival of coral and it’s Marine ecosystem. Me&Ro will continue to use antique coral purchased from reputable vendors in limited edition and one-of-a-kind designs.
