Inspired by the beauty of the natural world, Designer Robin Renzi has created a collection of some of her most favorite shells that she has found from beaches as close as Long Island and as far away as India. One side is covered in 99.9% fine silver through the unique technique of electroforming while the other exposes the natural beauty of each shell.
Measuring 7/8 x 7/8 this irregular fragment comes from the internal core of a much larger shell. It displays The Golden Spiral, a logarithmic form synonymous with life itself. Growth in this pattern transcends species, found on land in ferns of early forests, to man, and to mollusk at sea. Coated in fine silver and finely engraved, this shell pendant hangs on an 18” chain made of recycled sterling silver.
