While travelling the world after high school, Maggie Doyne made her way to war-torn Nepal, where she came across hundreds of orphan children. In 2008, she worked along with the local community in Nepal to build the Kopila Valley Children's Home and Primary School. She has founded the BlinkNow Foundation to sustain, grow, and support the Kopila Valley Children's Home and School, and to create a forum for those with similar aspirations. In 2014 she was honored by His Holiness the Dalai Lama as one of the Unsung Heroes of Compassion and was honored as a CNN Hero in 2015.
