Sterling Silver 7 Large Turquoise Teardrops on Chain
Turquoise first came to Europe from Turkey and thus got its modern name. But this versatile earthy stone has been used in jewelry and sculpture across many cultures of antiquity from the Indus Valley to Persia, Ancient Egypt, and by the Aztec in Mesoamerica. Seven large natural sleeping beauty teardrops are wire wrapped on recycled sterling silver and finished with sterling silver chain on this limited edition necklace. The beads measure approximately 1/2” at their widest point and 5/8”long. The pendant is 18” in length and finished with a sterling silver large round lobster closure.
