These shells were picked on a blue beach, in Kennebunkport in northern Maine, full of stones and broken shells. White accents brightened by the late summer sun, cast at an enchanting angle onto beaches of Maine. It’s these places that ignite inspiration, and drive us to create these one of a kind shell necklaces that transport you to another place, feeling warm in the mist of cool blue waves.
This tiny stout white shell, with an internal spiral shape is known as a Nutmeg shell. Measuring ½” x 3/8”, it displays The Golden Spiral, a logarithmic form synonymous with life itself. Coated in fine silver this pendant is accented by a luminous amorphous rose cut brown diamond, and hangs on a fine 16” recycled sterling silver chain with a lobster closure.
