P443 S NAT
This pendant, made from recycled sterling silver is engraved with the Chinese character for Reverence on the front and Benevolence on the back. Reverence, pronounced "CH'UNG" for "ancestor" is placed below three peaks of a "mountain", reminding us to revere those who came before us. Benevolence, pronounced "JEN," combines the picture for "human being" with the pair of horizontal strokes that denotes "two." This is the essential kindness that one person shows to another. This pendant measures approximately 1/4" in length and width on 16" natural cotton cord with a sterling silver button closure.
